Sieory
I'm working around a budget so I'm unable to make upgrades sadly. Do you think I can still be good to go? Or would this stop me from being able to run Vive? :c
Synthesis
@Sieory You definitely want a better GPU. The 1050 is a somewhat outdated budget card at this point. I'd recommend a 1060 or 1070 at the very least at this point. Everything else looks great though, you should be good with that CPU and RAM. Thank you, -Jack S
HackPerception
Seconded, a GTX1050 simply doesn't have a very high transistor count because it's a budget model and thus it's only about 40-70% as powerful as what's required to get the headset up and running. @Sieory
SuperNikoPower
The good news is 1060, 70, and 80s are dropping in price pretty good. To give you an idea, a 1080 has been as low as 400 and 1060s have been down to 150. So there is room to play around and still get a good to great VR experience. Soon enough, you will be all up in the world of VR.
