Amnesiac
Hello, I am having some issues with SteamVR ver. 1.8.21 detecting my HTC Vive headset. This issue occurred after I refreshed my 3D settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel on my computer. I tried many possible fixes such as power cycling my link box, power cycling the base stations (as I was having some issues with those as well), plugging the link box into a different non-3.0 USB port, uninstalling and reinstalling SteamVR after disconnecting all USB devices through developer settings, restarting my PC, and attempting to reinitiate setup in the Vive's setup software. The controllers and base stations are connected now, but I am having detection issues consistently with the headset and intermittently with the base stations. SteamVR states my drivers are up to date, and I was unable to automatically find any new drivers through my PC's device manager. I have created a system report as I am unsure of where to go from here. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if there is anything further you require of me. Thank you for your time! Edit: The headset now goes from grey to black upon being turned on, and I have to turn on the controllers in order for the base stations to wake up. The controllers are fading in and out (having tracking issues) too now. Edited December 4, 2019 by Amnesiac
