DamienStudio
I made a Unreal project on a HTC Vive which works just fine. Then I recently got my hands on a Vive Focus Plus, and have been trying to get my project to work on it, but without success. At this point, I can't even get Unreal and the headset to 'talk' to each other, for projects to transfer, or even compile correctly, and I can never be sure if the multitude of plugins are installed correctly. At this point I'm wondering if it's even possible, or if I'm just banging my head against a wall for no reason... If yes, what plugins do I need to develop for the Vive Focus Plus on Unreal? HackPerception
@DamienStudio, You can definitely target Vive Focus from Unreal Engine but you'd need to download and integrate the WaveSDK in order to talk to the HMD. For desktop Vive devices - the SDK/Runtime is SteamVR/OpenVR. That's something that's quazi-baked into UE4. For Focus and other "wave" devices, you use something called the WaveSDK. We have a UE4 plugin that you can download from here: https://developer.vive.com/resources/knowledgebase/download-vive-wave-sdk-3-1-6-unreal-beta/
