grix
Last night in the middle of playing my controller went solid blue and since then I haven't been able to pair it. I tried pairing it again through the steamvr devices menu, and tried to reset it by holding Trigger, Menu Button, Trackpad click, and Grip buttons while connecting it to my pc. Managed to pair it for a couple of minutes after doing that reset but the controller was not properly tracking, the trackpad didn't work, and it went blue again after maybe 10 minutes. Anyone knows any other trick I may try before giving up and buying a new controller?
TomCgcmfc
Maybe attach your controller to your PC via a usb cable and see if you can update its firmware. Also, make sure your controller is fully charged. Otherwise, contact Vive Support and see if they can help. Good luck mate. HackPerception
@grix - You might have an electrical problem - that's a weird set of behaviors. This method is really helpful for trying to debug the SteamVR side of the coin as some of these settings can survive reinstalling a SteamVR instance.
