HTC Vive walking backwards not directly

Hi there Vive members,

I just went from a Oculus Rift S to a Vive. Just for the experience. I have some issues with the controler. When i play a game where you needs to walk my "walking back" button doesn't work directly. First i need to make a move to the left of right, then im able to walk back. The button works fine after makeing a rotating. But not when there is some action and i need to walk back without rotating the character. I have this problem for all of the games i play.

You guys have a solution on this?

Think i fixed it. This was the fix:

 

 

I noticed that the toutch pad is not working if you press your thumb on the edge of the button. It needs to be more to the center. That's a big "bug" if you ask me 😞
