Need help with connecting Vive Cosmos USB-c port

Hi All, I have a MSI gf65 thin laptop that has 1 x hdmi 2 x standard usb ports and 2 x usb c ports. i have a set of vive cosmos and trying to find a way to connect these and having working with my lap top is this possible ?

Of have read different threads saying yes it will work and have talked to MSI and they have said no it wont work so i am a little confused .

I am just wanting to get some more FAQs before going and buying adapter cables or docking stations or a new laptop ? 

Any help would be greatly appreciated .
