Vive Pro motion pad controller not responsive

Hello, I would like to know if there is a solution to fix the motion pad controller (Vive controller 2.0). I can teleport in Steam Vr home after clicking the edge of the pad but it will not work in games while trying to walk or run. The small visible dot that usually appears in Vr while sliding the finger on the pad will not appear. Any insight? Thanks in advance.
