Cosmos Elite gray screen on start up

I've been having display issues with my Cosmos Elite. On start up I've only been getting a gray screen, though audio has been going through the headset fine enough. I had the original Cosmos and never had this issue. I've tried switching the cable ports on my computer and updating my drivers but haven't had any luck. 

SteamVR has been saying the headset isn't tracking and I've tried changing up my environment but that didn't work either. Since I originally bough the first Cosmos, I don't have any base stations so I can't see if that changes anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
