Blobfish
Hi, I was wondering if someone has some steps to troubleshoot my vive pro 2 cameras not working? The "Room View" is enabled in SteamVR settings When I press "Start Test" it checks camera for about 5 seconds then displays "Camera communication failed" My cameras are enabled in my windows privacy settings. In Device Manager the camera is displayed as "Vive Pro Multimedia Camera" Not sure what to try next... I'm using original base stations and controllers an i9 9900k and a 3090 gpu. Thanks for any help offered.
AmazingTechVR
I've posted the same thing, nothing will get the cameras working. I do have a piece of software called Yawcam that lets you select any camera and it does work in that, so I know the cameras are fine. Could you also comment on here about the clarity with your 3090 on Ultra or Extreme? @C.T.

Wilhuff Tarkin
I had the same issue, so I opted in for the Beta (1.17.1.16) and now it *almost* works. I don't have the Communication Failed error anymore, but now I get "Tracking failed with camera enabled" and on my PC monitor I can see a mirroring of my cameras, but in my headset I see nothin at all
C.T.
When you use the test camera function on steamVR, it's better to do it when your headset is under good tracking area.
MixedupJim
Wow - I've never used the pass through cameras before. That's a neat feature. Is it possible to bind a button on a joystick to activate the cameras? That way in flight sims I could use additional physical control panels without having to take the headset off.
