Base Station 2.0 is recognized as Base Station 1.0

I have a HTC VIVE Pro and its link box was broken recently, so i ordered another one and when i connected everything, the base stations were recognized as Base Station 1.0 in steam vr app and their icons turn green but icons are for base station 1.0 and because of this problem in room setup it doesn't recognize the headset. it says controllers are ready but headset not ready.

i did rescan for 2.0 base stations and did a channel reset with paper clip from back of bases nothing changed. connected base stations with micro usb cable nothing happened. i tried reinstalling windows, steam, and steam vr and again nothing changed.

what's the problem? what do i do? please help
