Planning to purchase a PC with below configurations.
I have already have HTC vive pro kit.
Is this system configuration compatible ? Kindly advice.

Hellos.
We did checked with USB-Typ C to DP connector.
The update is, we are able to connect HTC vive this time using USB Type-C to DP adapter & it is able to sense Vive Headset, Base stations & controllers. However we are getting the below error & headset green light turns to red often.
Kindly let us know a way ahead.

Even if we use Type C-To DP Port adapters, Will HTC vive headset work well with external adapters. ? There are lot of forums ,wherein users have said that, HTC vive pro headset doesnt work with any external adapters.

We have recently procured The HTC Vive Pro Full kit 2.0 & Asus G732LXS-HG059T Laptop I9-10980 HK/ RTX 2080 Super lately. While we tried connecting HTC headset with laptop, we found that the laptop didn't have Display port. So we procured a good quality connector to connect Display port to HDMI Port (in laptop) to make it work.
When we run VR Steam & headset, we get " Headset Display not connected". Refer Snapshot attached.
I think the connectors doesn't work with HTC. is that so ?
Kindly assist & let us know the possible solution to make VR work.

Location would be in India, for an enterprise, to showcase products to our customers. After 1 year warranty, is AMC applicable? Any charges applicable ? Extension of warranty applicable ?

Ideally Demo would be at our premises, & travel would be minimal. But as you rightly said, HTC cosmos would be much easier to set-up & being upgraded one, it would be a latest buy ! .
Other than portability issues, is there any point which HTC vive pro leads by COSMOS & would be a decision maker ?
Can you please confirm if HTC vive Pro or Cosmos - would be compatible with my Laptop configurations ( GPU requirements are met)
Any other factors to be considered ?

New HTC Cosmos with in-built 6 cameras is quite impressive. We intend to use this product for VR of 3D models(The models which we use are taken from Native 3D software's & converted into VR file.) to showcase it to our customers.
Is this a right selection for its use ?
1. We have been using HTC vive pro & found it to be quite smooth & impressive. 😄
2. Does elimination of base stations(in case of HTC Cosmos) would make any difference in terms of Quality & visual appearance ?
3. Now, I want to purchase either of one, HTC Vive pro or HTC vive cosmos ? 🤔
