[Impact of Gear Lens Mod to Vive Pro Eye?]

I have been advised to ask my question here in the Developers Forums, so I hope you can help me out: I recently bought a Vive Pro Eye Set and would like to know if the gear lens mod will work also on the Pro Eye Version and if the modification will have a possible (negative) impact on (or a risk of influencing) the eye tracking performance - any advise is welcome!
