[Perceived distance using vive lens]

Hi there, 

I have an HTC Vive Pro Eye and I am designing an experiment. Actually, I am showing a set of  geometrical shapes on the display with a specific dimension (calculated according to the resolution and the screen dimension). 

There are some specs regarding the perceived distance provided by the Lens?

Hi there, I am looking for a way to use the HMD as a second desktop. 
I know that steamvr has an option to turn off the direct display, however, it does not (apparently) provide any changes. 
Are there some techniques able to manage the Vive as a second monitor (preserving the eye-tracking)?
