  1. Hello,

    so far we use the Microsoft Display Apapter for casting the Vive Focus 3 to a bigger screen. Unfortunately the devices seem out of stock in most places. 

    Has anybody any recommendations for other devices to cast on?

    during the installation of Vive Business Streaming the error 103 occurs. 

    According to What do the error codes and messages mean? What can I do? (vive.com) it means that there is no internet connection. However the PC itself has at least a https connection via the browser. However there probably there is a company firewall in between. On which ports does the installer work? Is there a offline installer available?

  3. @Jack83 If you have always tracking issues, the have to replace the headset. We have currently 4 headsets within our company and all the headsets have no real problem with tracking. In deed the tracking is more sensitive to changes in the environment and the lighting condition compared to the Quest. However is acceptable from my experiences so far. The only two issue with tracking is that I sometimes lose the guardian while the exchange of the headset between persons and it seems sensitive to a large screen (this I have to test again). 

    But call them for a replacement!

  4. @Jack83 From my experience the focus 3 is very sensitive to "sunlight" compared to the Oculus Quest 2. 

    It is obvious in your Video that the left area of and near the window is overexposed by IR light and as the area is that large the headset has no valid tracking on the left side and has a problem with fixing the space.

    I hope HTC works on an adaptive IR sensitivity as it works fine with the Quest (I can use the quest on a cloudy day in the garden ... the Vive Focus does not see anything outside even on a cloudy day). BEWARE: Do not use the headsets in bright sunlight, if you do not want to buy a new one!

    Did you really got the bitrate higher with hacking the bitrate? I had the impression it did not really apply the other values.

    Unfortunately the Quest 2 is no alternative in a business context as it still needs a Facebook account ... although it is a more grown-up headset without any starting issues 😞

    due tue security issues in our company, we have a dedicated WIFI to connect the Focus 3 with our PCs for streaming. However sometimes the library of the installed apps takes for ever to load if it has no internet but WIFI. The configuration however detects that there is not internet.

    Would be good to disable the internet loading of the library in "no internet" mode.

    sorry have not answered earlier. It was strange, after some reboots the installation of the controller firmware restarted and went perfectly through.

  8. Hello,

    after the update of the controllers I do not see the controllers in the headset anymore. The controllers get connected via bluethooth, but can not interact with the headset. 

    I started the procees of the headset, left the headset on the table and then I am in the situation. I also reseted the headset via the app, but it did not help. 

    I also tried to connect the headset to use the update PC tool. However It seems not to work. 

    Anybody can help me?
