Nordine98
Hello everyone, We are a small company that has strict security rules and we would still like to leverage the HTC Vive to visualize some of our 3D designs, using some of the Autodesk Stingray suite of software. Right now, our only hurdle is the fact that we have not figured out a way to turn the headset to running without the SteamVr connecting to the internet at least once. This means the computer to which the Vive is connected cannot be linked to our internal network. Not good...any help would be appreciated. Remember, we cannot even connect to the internet once (we know we can link to Steam once and work in off-line mode).
jagibson
Hello, Just to confirm, you are running Steam in offline mode but it still attempts to connect to the internet? Have you confirmed that Steam is generating the traffic? If you are able to run a network analyzer whne viewing your content that may help determine the source. Thanks, John
CaTaPulT
If your looking for network activity software which will show which processes "call home"..... take a look at GlassWire. There's a free version and if you want more features, then you have to buy it. It's actually quite good! :) Regards: Jack
