I need to develop business applications of Virtual Reality through VIVE Focus Plus. Some examples are virtual Heart Surgery training / Oil field training through VIVE Focus Plus. Kindly share on which platform I can develop these applications.

Are there any specific development kits / tools provided by VIVE on which these applications need to be developed. And in which programming language these applications are to be developed?

Hi Ervin,

We support development using our wave sdk that can be downloaded here https://developer-express.vive.com/resources/vive-wave/download/latest/

Using native (java or C++): https://hub.vive.com/storage/docs/en-us/GettingStarted.html
Unreal: https://hub.vive.com/storage/docs/en-us/UnrealPlugin/UnrealPlugin.html
Unity: https://hub.vive.com/storage/docs/en-us/UnitySdk.html

Which toolkit you use depends on your preference, experience and team. We're here to enable those decisions 🙂

Let me know if I can help any further!

Thanks,
Alex
