7 dongles on a USB 2.0 hub ?

Hi,

I plan to place 8 PCVRs in a mini-datacenter separated by USB extension from the players. 

As I will be using VRDongle, I can’t use USB 3.0.

Can I plug 7 dongles into a USB 2.0 hub?

Can I do it in 8 cabins of 2.4m side separated by 10 cm partitions without risking interference (57 dongles in around 80m2)?
