Narkona
Im thinkning about buying a HTC Vive and using i for car simulators... I have a good friend with whoom i have used hundreds of hours playing car sims.... Until now he or I have player the game... and the other has been working as co driver, by being a spectating and watching the game with the one who is playing. My question is : if im using a HTC vive.... is it then possible to have a normal pc screen to also shows the game? or is it only the one with the VR headset that can view the game? Meusli
Yes you can, but usually it is not quite the same. The Vive can display the footage in two distinct ways either by showing two images of each eye in a split screen format or through one eye only. When it is displayed through one eye the footage will never be quite centre as it works like your eyes do if you close one. This wont be a problem in driving games but in gun game etc it will look like they are not pointing at the target.
