Clarification on Wrist Tracker support VBS / Unity

Hey,

Im looking at doing some development with wrist trackers in Unity and Vive OpenXR  but the documentation has confused me a little as the main page says its supported, but when i go into the getting data documentation it says it isnt.

Are we able to grab data from the wrist trackers through Unity's input system or do we need to go through SteamVR?
