Synthesis
Are you plugged into the USB 2.0 or the USB 3.0 slots on your PC?Try swapping them. Thanks, -John C
felixbannister
Thanks for the fast reply! But no, I have now plugged the link box into every USB port on my PC, to no avail. It is currently plugged into a USB 2.0 port, but 3.0 wasn't any better.
Synthesis
Hmmm. I'd definitely do a reboot, clear out the USB drivers via SteamVR settings and set it back up through USB 2.0 ONLY.Thanks, -John C
felixbannister
I tried a bunch of fixes at once, actually. I made sure I was only using USB 2.0, updated every single one of my drivers, and stopped running any other programs at the same time. Problem seems to be solved. Thank you for your help! HackPerception
, does it bluescreen? Is there a specific stop message? Stuff like this is often related to drivers, as SteamVR fires up and calls upon the necessary resources, it may hit a snag causing the crash.
