Loris Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Hey, Ive recently Bought my vive a couple days a go now and when i first plugged it in and fully set it up i got the good ol' Error 208 and i have tried everything under the sun to fix it, ive followed every troubleshooter and tips given, however i got it working last night for a couple hours so i know the cables arent atleast broken now, before i decided to turn it off and unplug it (Worst Decision ive ever made) becuase now im stuck at stage one again (Error 208) not knowing where to go, now loosing my mind.

Here's one: https://www.vive.com/eu/support/category_howto/how-do-i-resolve-the-steamvr-error-208.html And if you haven't already, remove all SteamVR usb devices (from SteamVR settings -> developer) and see if that helps. Also try connecting on a USB 2 port and lastly check to see if your PC/laptop has a compatible USB card.
