Very loose power cable to headset

Anyone else notice thet power cable to the headset (the orange) is very loose when plugged into the link box?

 

It's not the linkbox itself as if I put the main power lead in it fits snuggly into the socket but the original male adapter is very very slack and can slowly work its way out of the link box.  If you push the power cable into the link box it almost instantly works its way back out, see the image below.  At this point it's still powering the headset but it should be a lot more of a snug fit.

It certainly isn't that way on any of the devices I've come across (which is more than a few, mind you.)

Maybe yours is looser than it should be?
