One controller not charging.

The light turns orange when I plug it in, after an hour or so it will turn green. However, immediately after I unplug the controller the light starts flashing red and dies about 30 seconds later. I have tried leaving it to charge overnight, changed charging cables, chargers, tried charging through USB hubs, wall outlets, resetting the controller, and reinstalling drivers.

I've been trying to get in contact with the support team but have had no response. I really don't feel like spending another $130 on a replacement controller...

Not sure what else to do or if anyone else has this problem.
