The HMD connection keeps getting cut off

First, I can't see any Error messages or Red lights on Base station.

But my HMD connection keeps getting cut off. again, and again.

just few days ago, it works well.

But recently I changed my motherboard and re-installed OS (Windows 10 64bit)

Is this going to be a problem?

@Hunees

Hi there. Thanks for posting. I am going to have to ask you some questions and get a clearer idea of what's going on. What type of VIve do you have? What GPU do you have? What motherboard are you using now? When you say your "HMD connection keeps getting cut off" Can you please specify more clearly what you mean by that? Are you seeing a grey screen? No display? Are you using video and or/audio?

Thank you,
-Jack S

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

I have Vive pro starter kit. so I have Vive pro HMD and Base station 1.0.

CPU : i7 7700

GPU : GeForce 1080 HOF

Motherboard : ASUS Z170-a

power : 550W

um,  At first, it runs normally. But After a while, the screen turns gray.

And few seconds, turns back again normally. and turns gray again.

Even when the screen is gray, the sound keeps coming out.

It was working normally until a few days ago.

Recently I changed my motherboard (but same model), and re-install OS, and add three HDD drive.

I tried to remove 3 newly added HDD drives because of power supply, but the result was the same.
