Viveport doesn't launch project correctly in VR mode

I'm developing a project using Unreal Engine 4.  I've tested it before uploading my build to the Viveport store and it worked perfectly fine.  However, when attempting to launch it through the Viveport app, it does not start correctly in VR mode and the camera is stuck at the ground.   What is causing this and how can I fix it?

Perhaps the Library doesn't have/use the Unreal engine you specify as well as the app---make sure all the software matchs before applying additional inputs.--it could be as simple as trying to use an Apple in a Xbox app.

Hmm, how would I check to see all software matches? I've downloaded a different project from the store that was also using Unreal Engine, and it launched fine. Perhaps I'm missing something somewhere.
