I'll make this clear for anyone else reading. This issue is NOT resolved. HTC applied an EQ patch as a band aid but the headphones are not performing as advertised at all. They perform at the level of 5 dollar ear buds at best.

Tried it out and the issue is still there. This feels like an EQ patch because you still dont feel any of the bass. I mean, wasn't there a built in driver and amp? The headphones sound like a cheap pair of 5 dollar earbuds.

Just to add I also get the same issue on my Vive Pro on the sound sounding terrible, tinny and with no bass at all. I'm glad to hear it is a known issue wich is being worked on because as it stands my device is unusable like this. I've tried switching audio devices to see if that is the problem but it didn't make any difference.
