It's really difficult to read through your posts to be honest.

After a few days of use (delivery date June 18th) i have noticed six brighter but small cloudy spots under the right lens of my Vive Pro 2. These spots are best visible on a homogeneous background with medium brightness and are distributed over the lower third and the right edge of the field of view. The spots are no dirt or dust on the lens and they are no stuck pixels. The HMD has not been exposed to direct sunlight or headlights that could have caused a burn-in defect.
What can be the cause of this.
dust?

Why don't you just contact customer support yourself and ask for a replacement???
Just to be clear, I enjoyed my VP2 without the issue you are seeing. -
With the latest update, spotted one hidden function inside the default.vrsettings can actually turn off the IPD pops.
Not sure if it was there already for awhile or just added, but it works for me when change to true.
Try it with your own risk though.Cheers

I thought they only disabled the type C for Cosmos series.

Check this out, but at your own risk

I don't really see you are helping out here. If you don't provide anything to the dev team, how do you suppose they to fix your issue?

Seems interesting, fresh install is causing the trouble. Do you think reinstall windows again is one of your option?
-
Which content do you mostly encounter this issue with the trigger?
Tracking has dramatically improved since day one, read through the other posts with patient. I remember someone posted the lighting warmthness can improve a lot a few days ago, you might want to take a look at it -
I also got additional one year with this sale. good deal

Thanks for reply. I was wondering if the option that You recalled is the same as motion smoothing in Steam VR. If it's the same, then I'm wondering why then, even after enabling it in Vive console, in Steam VR it's still not supported?
Well, I think cosmos somehow did that motion smoothing by themselves already. I don't have problem with my fps.

Well, I'm a little late here, but I am happy with this update.
-
Have you tried the settings inside vive console? I'm a cosmos owner, not sure if this is also available with Elite

If I recall correctly seeing this thread long time ago, you can double click left hand vive key and then the trigger to capture content screenshot.
It sounds like something you want.- 1

Try double click the left hand controller, it should bring up the steam VR Dashboard

I have some HTC COSMOS glasses. Until now I've used them on the PC without any problem. But now I want to use them for demos, that's why I bought a laptop.
The laptop, ASUS G731G is new. It comes with an HDMI input, the board is RTX 2070.
I can't connect the Display PORT directly. I bought a miniDisplayPort to HDMI adapter. But it doesn't detect it. I've been trying for hours. Is there a solution?
ThanksHDMI adapter won’t work.
Try type C to DP adapter instead.ItBut I’m not sure if it is from GPU, you may have to figure it out on your end.

did u disconnect the headset that comes with it?

try what this guy suggested, works for me.
I think HTC only added the reset front direction/floor height function, not the redo room setup just yet.- 1

Very well surprise update this morning, so far much playable on my favorite games. especially H3VR, and Boneworks.
but still, what was the most wanted feature about? It doesn’t seem to come with this update. Or is it a better tracking?!?
Anyway, cheers and thank you @C.T.- 1

Try to reinstall all cables, and switch to another DP port. It looks like bad signals and connection.
-
Yeah, it's listed in their release notes last month.
Contact MSI support to update VBIOS seems the only way to go.

try this, this might work.

Have to agree with it. I have a feeling HTC are now trying to improve a dud with hardware that doesn't suit what they are trying to do with the headset.
And then as soon as the external tracking mod comes out, they'll just say 'yeah you need that if you want decent tracking'. That's $200 please.
Already made up my mind to get the lighthouse plate to replace this experimental tracking updates. Every now and then, the controllers are unpredictable thru beta updates.
