[HTC VIVE Raises The Bar For Premium VR]

I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again now a new headset is coming out. Currently HTC offers a home version of the Vive, and then a commercial version for significantly more. However, there are going to be people who may wish to purchase the Vive Pro if they don't have a headset, and then apply it for business later...

 

Therefore, the commercial license should be provided as a separate option rather than bundled with the hardware - otherwise it feels like an excuse to charge more than is actually necessary.

It's great that HTC have seen the wisdom to make their prices much more competitive with rival headsets; particularly now they wish to launch a standalone system later this year.

 

I was wondering, however - currently the Business Edition stands at £1,150 incl. VAT, so are there any plans to offer a price decrease as well for commercial developers?
