  1. I am not able to get the installer to do anything on this one computer. As soon as I click the install button, it errors (see attached). I am logged in as an admin user and rt click the installer (run as Administartor).

    Machine has Steam and Steam VR already installed

    RTX 3060 graphic card with 12gb of video ram

    I have gone into Nvidia settings and made sure the graphics card is set as the priority graphics card for all apps.

  2. I have 3 vive focus 3 headsets. I have 3 vr ready computers. Two computers are setup and running. My 3rd computer will not let us install Vive business streaming. We are logged in as an admin user. We have installed Steam and Steam VR. When we try to install VBS it says failed (see attached). We have a RTX 3060 graphics card, with 12gb video ram. Please help. We are rt clicking and running as admin.

  3. You are my hero! It seems that this prompted a couple of updates? As soon as I opened my project, I was asked to update the Vive Open XR plugin for Windows to 1.0.8. Then I made the changes you suggested, did a project reopen, and it all works. Awesome, Thanks! I have spent hours and hours and hours trying different things, and I am so glad to have a project work. I even built the project directly to the headset, using the Android settings, and it all worked.

  4. I have followed all the posted tutorials for getting my vive focus 3 headsets (three of them) to work correctly for development in Unity. I get all of the packages setup, but the controllers will not show in the scene, when I hit play. So there is no way to interact with the scene.

    Using unity 2020.3.33 or 2021.3.

    Headset software is 5.0.999.264

    Vive business Streaming version 1.0.9.6

     

    I have my build settings for Android, as shown in the pictures.

     

    I have been through this so many times. I need help with getting some settings and versions that work together.

  5. I have tried following this tutorial so many times with no success. Each time, I come into Unity, only to see the headset display following the scene, but no controllers will show.

    Someone on the forum mentioned, you need STEAM VR package from the Unity Asset store. When I try that, I get the controllers to show, but the camera is disconnected from the VR aspect and the controllers are way out in space.

    My Vive Focus 3 headset is using version 5.0.999.264, Vive business streaming is using 1.0.9.6 beta. and I have Steam VR running.

    Can someone help me understand how to put this all together so that I can develop in Unity and see the controllers and camera working.

     

     

  6. While developing in Unity, I believe I have all my settings correct, but when I go into Play mode or build a game, I do not get any controllers or hands of any type to show.

    • Headset software version 5.0.999.624
    • Unity Version 2020.39LTS
    • Headset Wave SDK version 5.0.2.014

    I have downloaded the HelloVR from GitHub which the forum provided. I get display right away, but no working input ability. I am attaching pictures of my project and settings.

    Could someone please offer help?

  7. I have followed the open xr beta for getting my vive focus 3 running with open xr. I have downloaded the sample project from the github repository. It opens fine. I check the package manager and project settings according to the setup tutorial. When I enter play mode, I have a blank scene with the white ground plane and off white sky. How do I get the hand controllers and interaction into the scene?
