  1. Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well. I've been working on a project that involves using eye trackers, facial trackers, and Unity to capture users' facial expressions. I have successfully collected this data and now I'm wondering if it's possible to project this data onto an avatar to create a dynamic video that replicates the user's facial expressions on the avatar.

Here are the details of the tools and software versions I have used:

    - Unity: 2021.3.20.f1
    - VIVE OpenXR Plugin - Windows: 1.0.13
    - UniVRM: v0.113.0

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice on how to achieve this. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

  2. I would like to specify applications installed from an APK file to be visible in Kiosk mode. However, I cannot see the applications I manually installed in the "Kiosk mode - Specify Applications" list.

I have already tried resetting the wearable device and re-downloading the APK file, but it did not resolve the issue.

Before the update on the wearable device, I was able to set manually installed applications as specified applications in Kiosk mode. Could the update be the reason I can't configure it this way anymore?

The version of focus3 software: 5.0.999.864

  3. Hi, I am currently in the process of developing an application for VR that seeks to integrate the functionalities of eye tracking and facial tracking. The primary objective is to detect users' facial expressions and accurately portray them on an avatar within the application. I have successfully accomplished this using the provided Avatar_Shieh_V2 prefab from the samples.

I am reaching out to kindly inquire about the recommended steps to replace the existing avatar prefab with a VRM file created using VRoid, while ensuring compatibility with the predefined facial expression parameters within the openXR framework. Any guidance or tutorials, particularly from HTC, would be greatly appreciated.

Furthermore, I am curious to know if HTC offers alternative realistic avatar models for developers beyond the currently used Avatar_Shieh_V2 model.

Thank you for your assistance and consideration. Your insights will be invaluable as I continue to enhance and refine my application.

  4. Hello, I am new to HTC Vive Focus3 and Unity.

So I was trying to build a virtual room for HTC Vive Focus3 with the tutorial from the forum and also the documentation from the HTC developer.

However, I encountered some problems 😞

(The Unity I used is version 2021.3.20f1)

The main problem was that when I turned to XR Plug-in Management and tried to enable OpenXR and VIVE Focus 3 Support feature group, I can't find "VIVE Focus 3 Support feature group" (as you can see in the screenshot)spacer.png

In additions, I just bought the HTC facial tracker and eye gaze tracker. If I choose to use OpenXR for mobile VR as the SDK, and build my virtual room on Android platform, is that compatible for both of the trackers?

If my description causing any confusion, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance.
