Need help regarding Mini DP 1.2 to USB-C adapters in Vive Pro.

Bumping this super old thread because I'm having the same issue. Can anyone tell me if my laptop is compatible to use the USB-C port as my display port? I have an MSI GS77 Stealth, 3070ti. I've tried everything and not sure what I'm gonna do if this expensive laptop can't run my Vive Pro 2. <img src="https://imgur.com/u9eQqq9">
