I have tried matching the information obtainable following the manual set up instructions from NordVPN to the fields provided by the various protocols in the Elite's VPN setting menu with no luck. Would there be any overlap here, or do they just not support any protocols in common?

HTTP Proxy (SSL)

L2TP/lPSec PSK
PPTP
L2TP/IPSec PSK
L2TP/lPSec RSA
IPSec Xauth PSK
IPSec Xauth RSA
IPSec Hybrid RSA
