Will my room be big enough for using the Vive?

Hello there everyone. So, I have enough money to buy a Vive and I have wanted one for ages. However I am kind of worried about space and being able to set up the Sensors in a good position. Here is my room:

and my power socket location:

Now, I am a bit worried about the fact I would have to use an extention lead where the black plug is (nothing important) but do I have any chance of being able to set up the sensors in a decent, working position, with them both being able to reach the socket?

Sorry if this seems a weird question, but I don't want to waste so much money and not be able to get it working decently.

Thanks for any advice you can give :D

First off, are you planning to just use the Vive standing or sitting? If so, you should have enough room. There's no minimum for that.

For Room Scale, you'll need a minimum of 2 by 1,5 meters of room to be able to walk about. It doesn't look like you have that in your room, unfortunately.

I would have liked to have used it standing and room scale so I could get the most out of games really. Do games and the vive still work as well in the other mode? Also I am still concerned about being able to get them both in good positions but use the same extension lead. How long are the cables for the base station?

As for space wise, I suppose I could try moving stuff around to see if I could get more space but I can't see me getting much more or enough for room scale :(
