screens flickering with loading issue.

So not sure if this is a computer problem or a problem with the Vive but I'm going to use half Life Alex since it's a good example. So whenever I'm playing the game it runs flawlessly with no problems and buttery smooth and whenever I go into a loading screen my screen will a flash from the normal picture to black from left to right and it's the only thing in VR that has ever made me feel sick. So I'm not sure if there's any fix to this or if I just have to close my eyes when it happens, thanks for any help beforehand.
