Guillaume Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 Hey everyone! We are developing a shared space high action multiplayer game. Because of this, it is very important that our users get notified as soon as possible when they or another player loses tracking to avoid accidents. To test how fast a player would get notified someone lost tracking we used the "Get Device Error State" node, then hid the headset's cameras and counter how long it took to return true. We measured it takes 7 seconds on average to get the notification, which is way too long for our use case. Is there a faster way to know if a user lost tracking? We are hoping to get below 1 sec between the time the cameras are obscured and the moment he headset notifies the game engine that tracking has been lost. Thanks in advance! .G
