Htc vive mic not working

so my vives mic isnt working ( i didnt think it had a mic till i was told it did ) i spent an entire night looking for a fix to this cause i dont have a thing to put in the extra usb slot for a usb to mic the issue im seeing with this is that it wont show up in any of the audio stuff and it dont seem to install any new drivers for the mic i looked in device manager and sounds from the control panel im at a complete loss q~q

 

im on windows 11 if that means anything
