Wolfolo
Yesterday I shut down (not standby) the XR Elite with 80% of battery charge (cradle). About 2 hours later I found out I couldn't start it, completely dead. Attached the XR directly to a power supply worked fine, I had to let the cradle to charge for about 20 minutes to be able to start it again and it was at 4%. Usually I leave it turned off with the cradle for days and when I use it again it has like 88-92% battery. Why it does drain the cradle while turned off? Should I disconnect the cradle everytime I don't use the XR? It doesn't happen often, it happpened 2 times before but I didn't use the XR for days, so I thought it was normal... but 2 hours? EPB
Old post, but still. I have experienced this a couple of times. Maybe not in 2 hours, but definitely the battery was dead even though the device was turned off and previously charged. 1 possible cause I have identified is that when you are turning the headset off, you have to wait until it is completely off and the fan stops spinning. If you take it off your head earlier there seems to be a chance that the shutdown process does not finish on its own possibly because of the proximity sensor. I am not sure though whether this is the cause.
Wolfolo
Thank you, I'll try this the next time, now I'm storing the Elite on it's case without the cradle, so at lest that won't be discharged completely.
