Omne
I am considering a Vive but the area I use is a converted attic. The ceiling is a little under 7' but the ceilings slope down to about 4' with a total width of about 10'. The length is 24'. Would the Vive game area work in that type of space? Can it track ceilings?
Synthesis
The chaperone system basically allows you to trace out a 2D virtual play area to keep yourself from bumping into walls and furniture. However, it doesn't take into account the ceiling height, so that could present a problem for you unless you carefully lay out the play space.7' is also fairly low, so if you can stand there and reach up and touch the ceiling easily, you might have problems with playing Vive in that area. Thanks, -John C
