VR desktop app?

Hi! Does Vive have an app to simulate your PC monitor screens in the VR? I'm going to be forced into an open space workplace and a VR office would help me avoid distractions.

 

I'd love to have a virtual office on the VR beach or primeval forest.

There's a number of them, but Big Screen is probably the most popular one for that purpose.
If that's not exactly what you're looking for, I can look up some alternatives as well. (Big Screen is what I use for this.)

Do you know if it supports multi monitors in the VR? I haven't found anything yet that says it does.

Bigscreen does allow you to use multiple monitors but it's a little werid. It needs an actual monitor to be hooked up or faked in order to work. See this article. 

The other alternative is to use Virtual Desktop. At allows you to have multiple application windows (but not monitors per say). It's Win 10 only btw.

, Also take a look at OVRDrop. It's not exactly a desktop app but it's one of the most helpful OpenVR tools out there and you could use it to theoretically add an additional monitor to any session and it can be used in combination with other desktop type environments that have more limited support.
