SteamVR Room Setup Unresponsive

i just got the vive, but because i cant setup the roomscale i cannot play anything else.
 when i launch the room scale setup it give me an unresponsive massage

Okay, yeah, it looks like windows is reporting it's not responding. That's strange. What have you tried so far?

disabling programs that might interfere, and restarting my computer, couldnt find much other solutions

I would also try reinstalling the software from scratch too.

Have you contacted Steam support? They might be able to help you better, given that it sounds like there's an issue with the executable.
