marvises Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Hello I just got my vive today. I hooked everything up as directed. At first the vive was working partially. The display in the headset wasn't working, but it was on everything else. I unplugged the headset and re plugged it in. I updated my video card drivers too. Now I'm getting error 208. Synthesis Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Error 208 generally means that the headset is detected by for some reason, the display isn't working properly. Check the HDMI cables and make sure you're in Direct Mode in SteamVR Developer settings. You can try to bypass the linkbox as well and plug directly into the PC. Additionally, any monitors you might be using MUST be plugged into the same GPU as Vive.
