Owl_paints Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 I was in the process of setting up my vive and everything was going fine until I came to the link box steps. I plugged in all the cords correctly, yet my hdmi wasn’t detected. I double checked if it was completely plugged in and it was, I’m not sure what to do now... First, can you ensure that the HMD has power (as indicated by status LED on the side of the HMD)? Next, ensure that you're plugging the HDMI cable from the link box directly into an HDMI port directly available on the GPU if one is available - avoid using adapters or dongles to convert the HDMI signal. Next, try plugging the USB cable into a 2.0 port - they're typically black. If none of this helps - you can try bypassing the linkbox's USB and HDMI connections and plug the HMD's USB and HDMI leads directly into your PC (keep power flowing through the link box).
