Vive pro flicker

I am getting a flicker in my vive pro.   it happens in both eyes and it is only about the top 1/3 of my view.  It does not do it if i mirror the display to my pc.   It happens mostly in skyrim thats what i use the most but i have seen it in steam vr home a few times.   It happens reguardless of what my SS is set at.  any help would be awesome. 

 

Specs are  i7-7700k  16gigs ram  2 gtx1080

I forgot to add it is very random as when they happen. I cannot force it but it happens. I can play for an hour and only see it once or twice or sometimes it will be every 20-30 seconds.
