Pepper
Hi, Currently the device goes to sleep as soon as someone takes off the headset. I beleive this happens with the sensor. Is it possible to turn the sensor off or extend the sleep time ? Appreciate your advice on this. Thanks Pepper
_Alex
Well, there is a quick, reversible and quite safe "hardware" solution for that. Proximity sensor is located between the lenses, slightly higher, you can always put a small piece of opaque adhesive tape on it =)But, if there is a quick software way, I also want to know
Tony PH Lin
Yes, "you can always put a small piece of opaque adhesive tape on it" is the fastest way. In current design we don't open for developers since it's the trigger point to recenter HMD to keep a better and consistent UX. But technically it's doable and you can raise the request if you have such requirements for enterprise solution. jtaniwha
I have done this with other devices (Samsung Gear) in the past. 2 things to keep in mind it will affect battery life and could possibly overheat (i have no seen this yet with the focus). Cheers
