Way to Access VIVEport Subscription without installing the Entire VIVE software?

VIVE is up and running with just SteamVR and I would prefer to keep it that way rather than having any additional services constantly running in the background using additional resources.

 

Is there anyway to access my VIVE subscription games without downloading the whole thing along with drivers that are going to overwrite my SteamVR installation and have all kinds of services and things running in the background?   Maybe a stand alone link to just install VivePort without it trying to reinstall the VIVE or overwrite SteamVR?  Thanks

As Viveport Subscription requires validation that you have an active subscription, it requires Viveport to be running.

 

Viveport uses SteamVR, as SteamVR powers the Vive, so it does not overwrite SteamVR on installation - it looks for it. If you do have any problems with installation we'll be happy to help you.
