HackPerception
, This is supported; the issues tend to arise around safety and occlusion. When having multiple users in the same tracked volume, you run the risk of having users collide with each other. This can be mitigated by setting the chaparones conservatively or by sticking to experences specifically designed for multiuser arcades. When multiple users are running off a pair of SteamVR 1.0 basestations, they have a higher chance of occluding the basestations from seeing each other and from seeing the controllers. The best way to mitigate that is by having the lighthouses mounted above the playspace so they have an overhead view of the tracked volume. HackPerception
You should be good to go. This tool can be very helpful in verifying that your basestations are optimially oriented. Be sure to unplug the basestation before physically moving it. Basestation FOV Visualizer. It's probably also worth explicitly stating that you can only use 1 pair of SteamVR 1.0 basestations in the same area. Both HMDs would run off one pair of basestations.
