Maskut Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 When launching the Setup it just opens a blue window telling me it's installing. After that it just disappears but it's stil visible in the Taskbar.

I've started an internal thread to investigate the problem - I will not hear back from them until after the weekend. If you are using the setup as part of your initial Vive setup; you can still use the hardware by installing SteamVR through the Steam Client.
Maskut2.0 Posted June 15, 2018 Posted June 15, 2018 The same problem occurs with the SteamVR Room Setup. (Had to create a new account because when i tried to log in via Steam it told me access was denied.)

If you experience a similar issue, it may indicate that you have a deeper issue within your windows installation and you may experience similar errors with other software.
HackPerception Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 , this may be a correupted temporary installation file. Can you try the following steps: Delete the folder %localappdata%\temp\ViveInstall.<version number>. The current version number is 3.0.5.0 as of this post. You can use window's search function to find this folder. Execute the Vivesw installer again.
