Override orientational matrix with custom matrix

Dear Vive Community,


As a project our group has created 2 degree of freedom motion platform to simulte forces while wearing the Vive. This provides a very immersive experience but there is 1 problem:


In the case of a race game, when the player accelerates, our motion platform will tilt backwards to simulte the forward force. This unfortunatly also requires the players to tilt his head to his chest to maintain horizontal orientation in game.


The question is:

Does Vive or any type of library / overrides offer a possibilty to substract our motion platform's orientational matrix from the vive orientational matrix?


Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
