Wavesurfer
Hi all, I am a 3D artist and want to create and view 360 stereoscoping 3D renderings (images) on the Vive. What is the best app to use? I also want to jump between different locations thus viewing different 360 images. Do we need to jump into Unreal for that or is there a simple authoring tool available? Many thanks!
Rockjaw
Hey - not an expert on this, so perhaps others can weigh in. Can you clarify what you're trying to look at? Actual 3D files, or images projected in 3D? For 3D files, something like Sketchfab might work?
virtualvision
Hi Wavesurfer, Did you manage to find a solution to view stereo 3D renders on the Vive? And did you manage to jump between renders using hotspots? (like a pano tour) Thanks

dario
Look into how Unity can handle this for you, even 6.1 cubic rendering is handled. For stereo, just make a layer for each eye.
