Wavesurfer Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Hi all, I am a 3D artist and want to create and view 360 stereoscoping 3D renderings (images) on the Vive. What is the best app to use? I also want to jump between different locations thus viewing different 360 images. Do we need to jump into Unreal for that or is there a simple authoring tool available? Many thanks!
Rockjaw Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Hey - not an expert on this, so perhaps others can weigh in. Can you clarify what you're trying to look at? Actual 3D files, or images projected in 3D? For 3D files, something like Sketchfab might work?
virtualvision Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 Hi Wavesurfer, Did you manage to find a solution to view stereo 3D renders on the Vive? And did you manage to jump between renders using hotspots? (like a pano tour) Thanks
Insightful Environments Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 has anybody, found a solution? Need a solution for hotspots full 360 visuals................to jump between views @Dario
dario Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Look into how Unity can handle this for you, even 6.1 cubic rendering is handled. For stereo, just make a layer for each eye.
